About Ways to Give
The FUTURE FORWARD campaign is expected to continue through December 31, 2026, with pledges payable beyond that date. Your annual giving counts to advance the campaign. Outright Gifts
Gifts by cash, check, e-check (EFT), or credit card are the easiest and most direct way to benefit the Danforth Center and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Make your gift online today or mail to 975 N. Warson Rd., St. Louis, MO 63132. For gifts via wire transfer, please contact our office.
Donor-Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving vehicle that manages donations on behalf of organizations, families, or individuals. Please notify us of your intent to make such a gift, so that we may acknowledge you promptly.
Appreciated Securities/Mutual Funds
A gift of appreciated assets entitles you to a charitable deduction for the fair market value of the donated asset, and you may save on capital gains taxes you would otherwise pay. Securities must be transferred directly, so please contact us for more information.
IRA Rollover
IRA rollovers (or “qualified charitable distributions”) are an option for donors age 70.5 and older. The gift is transferred from a traditional or Roth IRA directly to the Danforth Center and may offer some tax advantages. If interested, please allow our gift officers to assist in this process.
Planned Gifts
Charitable bequests and planned gifts are an excellent way to help advance the Danforth Center mission into the future. These types of giving may have the added benefit of reducing your estate tax burden. Please consult your advisor and visit legacy.danforthcenter.org to learn more.
Tribute Giving
Honor a loved one or celebrate a special occasion; remember a departed friend or colleague. Tribute gifts recognize or memorialize a person or event with a donation to the Danforth Center, and can be completed online by checking the box for “This gift is a tribute in honor or in memory.”
Recognition
Donors will be recognized in all Center publications and on the digital campaign donor honor wall on site. Increased Danforth Society and multiyear pledge commitments will be additionally recognized in campaign donor listings. Wishes for anonymity will be respected, of course, so please let us know.
